Passports & Visas

​At Maple Infants’ School we have taken the decision to not countersign passport photos, passport applications, British naturalisation applications and similar documentation.  This is a school wide policy.  Therefore teachers and other staff, if approached by parents or carers with such a request, will be unable to oblige.

This decision was taken with much deliberation and consultation with the Governing Body to prevent abuse, fraudulent gain and to ensure that we maintain consistency and fairness.  Our capacity to undertake non-school business in our busy infant school is very restricted as we want to ensure that our primary focus remains on delivering high quality teaching and learning experiences.
