Resources for staying safe online

Staying Safe Online

At Maple Infants' School we are aware that the internet and accessing online resources hosts many exciting opportunities for education. It is a wonderful place for children to explore, learn and be creative, but just like the real world, there are risks and dangers they should be aware of and which we should all act to protect them from. As a school we encourage the use of technology as an important part of the children's development, but always want them to spend their time online safely. We can all play a significant part in ensuring this.

Safer Internet Day

Safer Internet Day is celebrated globally in February each year to promote the safe and positive use of digital technology for children and young people and at Maple Infants' School we take an active role in promoting this for our pupils.
