Silver Birch Class have had a great time during Maths Week, culminating in a visit from a Maths Magician today. Over the course of the week we have taken part in the Whole School Maths Challenge, followed the Maple Maths Trail in the playground, and have learnt about shape, problem solving and money.
We would like to say a special thank you to Mr Wells (AKA Mr Maths!) for his organisation and enthusiasm!
Silver Birch with the Maths Magician – we can do some Magical Maths!
Dear Parents
We would like to take this opportunity to say how much we have enjoyed teaching your lovely children for the past year. We cannot believe how fast the time has gone, but as the saying goes, ‘Time flies, when you’re having fun.’
Thank you for your amazing support, we are very proud of all they have achieved. We would also like to say a huge thank you for our cards, presents and especially our beautiful memory book which we will treasure.
Hope you have a lovely summer!
Mrs Brittain and Mrs Smith
Copper Beech had loads of fun at the Lego Workshop and created an entire town made of lego, including factories and hospitals.
We learnt a lot from the Buddhist monk who came to visit us this week and we meditated for one minute.
We found the centre of the maze after several dead ends and had a lovely school trip to Hever Castle.
