Cake sales start on Friday 10th June and will become a weekly Friday social event until the end of term with teas and drinks also served. Mrs Robinson has kindly agreed to let children play on the equipment – as long as they are supervised by parents.
We will also continue the cake sales into September as a nice welcome back to school and to make the most of mild weather at that time of year.
Our Sponsored Bounce raised a total of £1,228.31 and was a lovely fun event for the children. Many thanks to all the parents who helped on the day and for some very generous donations indeed!
PE co-ordinator, Miss Buglione, has registered Maple Infants’ on Lloyds TSB website . If you wish to pledge your support, visit Maple’s pledge page and you may win tickets for the London 2012 Olympic or Paralympic Games!

The school re-opens on Monday 6th June 2011, but please note that Wednesday 8th June is an INSET day, therefore the school will be closed to all pupils.

This week has been a real fun week for the children culminating in a brilliant fashion show with children modelling their re-cyclable costumes!
The children made apple and blackberry crumble on their second session of Let’s Get Cooking.

This week the children learnt how to chop safely.

They are also great at washing up!
