Mayor’s Christmas card competition

A message from the Mayor’s office:

Design the Mayor’s Christmas card and win a family ticket (for 4) to see one of the christmas productions at the Rose Theatre.

The Mayor would like one of the pupils from a Kingston Primary School to design this year’s Mayor’s Christmas Card.

We do appreciate that this is late notice so this has been designed to be completely optional and done at home whilst the children are on their half term break.

The Mayor would also like to say a special thank you to the Rose Theatre Kingston who have very kindly agreed to support the competition by offering the Winner and Runner Up prizes:

Winner prize: 1 x family ticket (for 4) to one of this year’s Christmas Productions at the Rose – (either 4 – 9 year’s – David Wood’s Storytelling or 10 years + – The Three Musketeers)

Runner Up prize: 2 tickets to one of this year’s Christmas Productions at the Rose – (4 – 9 year’s – David Wood’s Storytelling or 10 years – The Three Musketeers)

The Winner’s drawing will also be reproduced as this year’s Official Christmas Card.

Children from the local primary schools are being asked to design an A5 Christmas card themed around either :

Christmas time at the Rose Theatre
or
The Christmas Story
or
Christmas in Kingston

Attached is a copy of the Competition Entry Form (in pdf format) so this can easily be downloaded.

Entries are to be handed back in to school by 12noon on Wednesday 3rd November so they can be popped into an A4 envelope and put in the internal courier service back to the Guildhall / Mayor’s Office on Thursday morning. The actual judging is due to take place on Friday 5th November.
