Please be re-assured that we will only close the school if it is absolutely necessary and there is a real Health & Safety issue for the pupils, staff and the community.

School Closure update! (Friday 8th Jan)

We are doing everything we can to ensure that the school will be open tomorrow (Friday 8th January) but please check this site at 8.00am for the final decision. Should SASM be closed, the Breakfast Club will not be operational. We will communicate as soon as we know details.

School closure! Thursday 7th Jan.

I have just heard (3:40pm Wednesday 6th Jan) that SASM are closing tomorrow. Maple will also be closed to all pupils but those staff who are able to travel to school safely will be planning and preparing as usual.

Maple is closed today as too many staff are unable to get into school.

Severe weather warning Wednesday 6th Jan

You will be aware that severe weather warnings have been issued for London & Surrey regarding possible snow falls. Can we ask that if possible you check this website early tomorrow morning and also listen to Radio Jackie (107.8) for any news about school closures in the Royal Borough of Kingston.
