Due to a power failure during the receptions’ performance today, we will do a repeat performance next Monday at 9.30am.
Please note that the deadline for applications to the Receptions 2010 is Friday 4th December. Applications may be returned to the school office.
Thank you for your donations of spare clothing to the school office. Every now and then we need a change of clothing for children who have accidents of various kinds. We especially need boys’ trousers!

- ‘Shine Star, Shine’ – Reception Performance – 9.30am – Parents invited
- ‘Christmas Recipe’ – Year 1 Dress Rehearsal – 2pm – Parents & toddlers, Year 2, Nursery pm children invited
Wednesday 9th December
- ‘Christmas Recipe’ – Year 1 Performance – 9.30 – Parents invited
- ‘Christmas with the Aliens’ – Year 2 Dress Rehearsal – 2pm – Parents & Toddlers, Year 1 invited
Thursday 10th December
- ‘Christmas with the Aliens’ – Year 2 Performance – 9.30am – Parents, Receptions invited
- Cygnet, Christmas cold buffet
Friday 11th December
- West Midland Theatre Group – ‘Pinocchio’ – 9.30am – All Nursery children are invited but Nursery pm parents must bring their children to the school office to enter the hall and stay with their children throughout the performance
- Cygnet – Christmas lunch – Reception part-time children invited to stay all day
- Christmas cards may be bought into school and posted in the Christmas Post Box, but remember to add the name of who is to receive the card and their class. Many cards go adrift because this is not made clear!
Tuesday 15th December
- Year 1 Science workshop – The Planetarium
- Year 2/SASM choir joint Christmas Carol Concert at The Rose Theatre – 1.30pm (tickets only)
Wednesday 16th December
- Class Parties with Guga Fit – children may wear practical party clothes (remember the children will be going out to play so clothes should be warm and comfortable)
- Reception part-time children should return at 1pm or bring a packed lunch and stay all day
Thursday 17th December
- Nursery Christmas Carol singing – 9.15am and 1pm – Parents invited
Friday 18th December
- 11am – Birthdays & Stickers Assembly for all children who will have a birthday during the Christmas break
- SCHOOL CLOSES AT 12 NOON – please remember to pick up your children promptly
