On another note … (Newsletter 6, 26.06.09)

We have lots of activities taking place over the next few weeks, including Parent Consultations, Fun & Games morning, The Infant Music Festival and The Country Dance Festival to name but a few. Please see the dates for your diary.

In my final letter, I will be informing you of which classes your children will be in next year and who will be teaching them. As usual, the children will meet their new teacher before the end of term and be informed as to which class area they will be based.

As the weather gets hotter, don’t forget to purchase a Maple sun-hat for your child. The Maple hats have soft brims unlike the baseball caps that some of the children wear presently. Baseball caps are really unsuitable for school use as the temptation to use them as a Frisbee is very great! They can really hurt children if thrown in the playground.

Hopefully we will all enjoy the busy run up to the end of term!

Your sincerely,
Liz Robinson
