We had very good attendance at the Parent Consultations days last week and many of you commented that it was lovely to have the chance to see the school in action. Anyone who was unable to attend, please see your child’s class teacher to organise an alternative meeting time.
Today I am sending out communications about the additional classroom we will be having from September 2009 (newclassmarch2009.pdf).
We are very positive that we will continue to provide high quality education for all our pupils and I am keen to ascertain your views. As a result, I have opened up this post for comments.
Please feel free to write your comments below. These will be sent to me and I will add them to this post as and when I get them.
To celebrate World Book Day your child can come to school dressed up as a book character. We would like children to bring in their favourite book to share in their class. (Please name your child’s book.)
During the week we are also having an Extreme Reading Photograph Competition. Photos must show your child reading in an unusual location or position. For example, reading at the park on the swings….so use your imagination and please be careful!
Photographs should be named and sent in via the class red tray to Mrs Brittain by Friday 6th March. Entries will be displayed in school.
