At present, we are intending to open tomorrow (Wednesday) provided we do not have any further severe weather warnings. Please continue to check the website for any updates. I will publish final instructions at 8.00am tomorrow. Hopefully things will be back to normal shortly but keep watching this space.
I have just received a directive from The Major Incident Team recommending that all schools in Kingston should be closed tomorrow. As a result, Maple will be closed tomorrow (Tuesday). Please keep checking the website for further details and I will update you before 3.00pm tomorrow re: Wednesday. We will be up and running asap!
We will be publishing updates on the school closure situation for your information as soon as we know. Please check early tomorrow for details. We are hoping to open if enough staff are able to get to work safely.
Maple Infants’ School will be closed today, Monday 2nd February.
